Leheriya sarees originated from the state of Rajasthan, India. The cloth is tied and folded in such a manner that when opened post-dyeing, there is a striped pattern created on the cloth with color on every alternate stripe.
Leheriya is a simple style of tie and dye technique. It features patterns of waves that resemble water, forming diagonal lines.
Gota patti is a type of embroidery originated in Rajasthan. Elaborate patterns are created using applique technique in metallic colours like golden and silver.
